The Sport and Innovation Summit was a first-of-a-kind event bringing together innovators, researchers, companies, and policymakers involved in innovation in sport to discuss the challenges and opportunities for the future.

The adidas team were invited to showcase some of their Innovations in Sustainable Sport funded by the European Commission’s public funding programs, including T-REX Project.

What are the social risks of circular economy transitions in various industries, and what role does social lifecycle assessment play in evaluating these risks? At the 5th PLATE conference this year, Anubhuti Bhatnagar and Kirsi Niinimäki from Aalto University shared suggestions for incorporating social LCA in circularity metrics to avoid the unintended consequences of circular economy.
