T-REX Project partners on stage at Munich Fabric Start

This week, our consortium members Drishti Masand (adidas) and Jyotsna Gopinath (Fashion for Good) attended Munich Fabric Start to share insights from the T-REX Project.
Back to overview
Joined on a panel with Prof. Dr. Maike Rabe (Hochschule Niederrhein) and Annabelle Hutter (Säntis Textiles) the speakers discussed closing the loop in textiles and breaking down barriers in textile-to-textile recycling.
Some of the key recurring points in these discussions were the need for industry-wide collaboration, legislation being a powerful catalyst to change, and embracing a step-by-step transition away from the current linear model.
The urgency to reduce generation of waste and incorporating circular models was also highlighted. “This is not an expense, it’s an investment”, as Drishti Masand put it.
